The Velocity 86 FBM features a pivoting 86cm steel side discharge cutter deck for the highest productivity when mowing large overgrown areas. Additional power comes from the mighty WEIBANG XC760T twin cylinder engine. Capable of cutting though grass and weeds up to 8ft high and 3” thick saplings.

In our latest field test video, the Velocity 86 FBM Field & Brush Mower takes on a monster challenge – tackling 6 years’ worth of tall grass and brush over 8ft in places. We invited a local contractor to put the Velocity 86 FBM through its paces. Our Managing Director, Stewart, was on site to get his thoughts and honest feedback on performance and the machine’s ability to power through extreme conditions.

V-Twin Power

Tall grass and brush cutting requires strong power and torque output. To ensure a consistent delivery and the highest levels of performance we chose the commercial grade WEIBANG XC700T and XC760T Twin cylinder engines, giving up to 17 kW of power output. To protect the engine we created a steel guard to prevent damage during use.

Mulch or Side Discharge Deck

The heavy duty blades offer a 76cm or 86cm cutting width to clear large overgrown paths, fields and woodland with ease. The 76cm deck is designed to cut and re-cut for a more thorough mulching effect. The 86cm side discharge deck allows cut material to be quickly ejected and is ideal for the most demanding conditions. Both models are fitted with a heavy duty blade and blade spindle with dual bearings to protect the shaft.

Pivoting Cutter Deck

The mower deck is capable of pivoting a maximum 12.5% up and 12.5% down to cope with uneven ground and avoid scalping as well as being removable for cleaning and maintenance. Another feature of the deck is the adjustable deck skid rails* which can raise or lower the cutting height to suit conditions. *Please Note 86 FBM features side discharge and no height of cut adjustment.

Powered Steering

The Velocity Field and Brush Mowers feature powered steering for easy turning over any terrain. Thanks to the integrated drum wheel brakes, simply pull the left lever to turn left, and the right lever to turn right, with near zero-turn ability.

Commercial Transmission

The Velocity Field and Brush Mowers are fitted with a commercial Peerless MST manual transmission to cope with the demands required when working in tough overgrown uneven terrain.
