ETHANOL SHEILD  is part of the multi award winning family of fuel solution products from B3C. This product range is scientifically engineered to provide a quick, easy, and effective means to TEST - FIX - PREVENT the problems associated with modern day fuels.

APPLICATION:
Prevent future engine problems with Ethanol Shield. This year-round fuel stabiliser is suitable for power equipment with either 2 or 4-Stroke engines. The preventative maintenance formula eliminates then prevents ethanol related problems.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:
Preventative Maintenance Formula: Acts as a fuel preservative by adding antioxidants into the fuel because ethanol blended fuel, (such as E10), is rich in oxygen and acts as a fuel catalyst by keeping the hydrocarbon chains short, preventing the fuel from decomposing prematurely.
Removes Water: Envelopes water molecules, preventing bonding with ethanol. By enveloping the water, it now passes harmlessly through the fuel system, including all filters and screens, to be vaporised in the combustion chamber.
Prevents Ethanol Phase Separation: Water removal prevents phase separation which leads to the corrosive effects of ethanol.
Contains Rubber & Plastic Conditioners: Dual lubricants condition rubber and plastic components - Rejuvenating and protecting the rubber gaskets and seals that may have been dried out by ethanol.
Fuel Stabilisation: Keeps fuel fresh and stable for up to 1yr, whist also promoting quick starting.
Upper Cylinder Lubrication: After the lubricants are burned in the combustion chamber, a synthetic lubricant is left lubricating the entire upper combustion chamber including piston rings and valves.
Reduces Emissions: Enables a clean and efficient burning of fuel.

NOTE: This is not a replacement for 2-Stroke Oil

DIRECTIONS:
Lawn & Garden:
Pour 8ml (2 capfuls) per 5 litres of fuel, (30ml per 20 litres), into the fuel tank or storage container.
Automotive:
Pour 30ml per 40 litres of fuel directly into the fuel tank.
(Measures are approximate – a greater dosage than advised would not be detrimental).

SIZE: 59ml bottle
TREATS: Up to 37ltrs L&G, 75ltrs Automotive

WHAT DOES ETHANOL SHIELD DO TO MY PETROL?

Ethanol Shield helps keep the fuel and ethanol bonded to each other regardless how much water is absorbed into the fuel.

WILL ETHANOL SHIELD MAKE MY OLD GAS NEW AGAIN?

High amounts of oxygen in ethanol blended fuels cause petrol to decay faster, and if left standing for long periods of time, the decaying fuel leaves varnish and sludge deposits. Petrol and milk are both organic — they decompose the same way. A foul, sour smell indicates BAD FUEL!

Power equipment not treated with an ethanol fuel stabiliser will become hard to start within 30 days. Fuel will decay in as little as 60 days! Petrol has a very short shelf life and will start to go bad within 30 days.

Petrol is in one of three stages of life: Good, marginal, or bad. Depending on the age of your fuel and which stage it is in will dictate which product to use. Ethanol Shield is designed to keep fuel fresh and ready to use. If the fuel is marginal Mechanic in a Bottle will allow the fuel to run in the engine without causing harm.

WHAT ARE THE MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ETHANOL SHIELD?

We recommend the following instructions for Ethanol Shield on all engines 2-Stroke and 4-Stroke.

  • Lawn & Garden (2 & 4 Stroke): Pour 1 oz. per 2.5 gallons of fuel in fuel tank or storage container.
  • Automotive / Marine: Pour 1 oz. per 10 gallons of fuel directly into fuel tank.
  • Stabilise / Storage: Up to 1 Year – 1 oz. per 2.5 gallons of fuel. Store in cool, dry place; avoid direct sunlight.
